The urban design concept provides the gradual deconstruction of the star-shaped prefabricated buildings in Dresden-Prohlis. Individual residential structures („house in the countryside“) and several high-rise buildings, which limit the area to the south, should be built on the vacant areas. A new created hilly landscape („Sterner Berge“) schields the area both opitcally and acoustically from the Bundesstraße B 172. The foothills of these hilltops structure the residential area into manageable sections, at the same time they offer scenic views to the surrounding Elbhang and the Elbsandsteingebirge.
