The design for an elementary school at the Ganghoferstraße in Munich-Sendling provides an elongated building structure. The project defines the spatial outlines of the area together with a nursery school that is integrated into the complex and a separate caretaker’s apartment.
The school building is characterized by several attractive view connections and spatial relationships. The laboratories are facing the street, the function rooms are located on the ground floor. The classrooms are accomodated in manageable wings, opening up to individually designed garden courtyards in a comb-like arrangement.
